The Notebook CH-I was DSI's debut craft for the SE Universe. Meant as an escort craft for larger vessels, but perfectly capable of holding its own in a dogfight, The Notebook is equipped with a thorough loadout of missiles, autocannons, and a nose mounted railgun.

This vessel was unofficially dubbed "The Notebook" during its testing phase trials due to how often the gyroscopes would be miscalibrated, leading to the ship often doing involuntary flips. It was observed by one of the testers to flip like, "...the pages of a notebook." The name was officially adopted in the later stages of testing.

The CH-I model is tuned for both atmospheric and space flight. Later models, such as the CH-II and the CH-III, would be introduced that were tuned for specific environments, but the CH-I is a jack of all trades fit for those truly willing to master the frontier.

Note: Two mods were used in the making of this craft, though they are entirely optional. This craft is perfectly serviceable without them.

[VSI] Recolorable Thrusters by Darkmist was used to change the color of all thrusters to the light blue glow seen in the thumbnail.

Adjustable Thruster Multipliers by Meridius_IX / Lucas was used to increase braking performance by a factor of 3x.
