Description
Penn Central F7A's 1760 & 1829 were built as NYC 1760 & NYC 1829, and Penn Central F7B's 3437 & 3440 were built as NYC 2437 & 2440 respectively. Penn Central all-time had 215 F7A's, numbered PC 1440-1538, 1636-1873,1878-1879, 1900-1906 (PC 1440-1538 ex. PRR 9524A-9689A, PC 1636-1873 ex. NYC 1636-1873, PC 1878-1879 ex. DRGW 5721 & 5754, PC 1900-1906 ex. PRR 9656A-9651A (Only PC 1905 of 1900-1906 series is painted in PC colors)).

Penn Central all-time had 38 F7B's, numbered PC 3423-3442, PC 3478-3479, PC 3508-3563, PC 4150-4163 (PC 3423-3442 ex. NYC 2423-2442, PC 3478-3479 ex. DRGW 5712 & 5733, PC 3508-3563 ex. PRR 9547B-9878B, PC 4150-4163 ex. PRR 9832B-9858B (even numbers from PRR series only)).

The F7A was classed by PC as EF-15/EF-15a
The F7B was classed by PC as EF-15/EFP-15
