The CH-III model is DSI's answer to calls for atmospheric combat. Lighter and more maneuverable than the other models of the Notebook series, its modified loadout of two gatling guns and two assault cannons make it ideal for taking down ground troops and light armored vehicles alike, with its signature railgun left to help ward off larger crafts. In addition to its modified pilot-controlled loadout, the CH-III is also equipped with an AI-controlled gatling turret, to help alleviate the pressure on the ship during heavy combat.

To make the ship lighter, a reactor was sacrificed and the overall profile of the craft was trimmed down by a significant amount, but an extra battery ensures that the Notebook will stay in the fight for as long as it needs to. Not only that, but to help reduce the amount of hydrogen used by the ship, a friction-less "hover" system was added to the ship, allowing the Notebook to glide across the ground when flight is not necessary to reach your destination.

Note: Two mods were used in the making of this craft, though they are entirely optional. This craft is perfectly serviceable without them.

[VSI] Recolorable Thrusters by Darkmist was used to change the color of all thrusters to the light blue glow seen in the thumbnail.

Adjustable Thruster Multipliers by Meridius_IX / Lucas was used to increase braking performance by a factor of 3x.
