The Phoenix Starworks Sarissa Multirole SV

The Sarissa is a Level 7 Starter SV for Reforged Eden and Vanilla. Can upgrade to core 9 for RE, while having shield and warp. Comes with 2 different color options; stock purple and charcoal, with secondary crimson and charcoal. With a high option of modification, the Sarissa can fulfill a number of roles for any player starting out; including medium fighter, warp capable interceptor, or a small haul miner, or anything in between.

The sarisa or sarissa (Greek: σάρισα) was a long spear or pike about 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) in length. It was introduced by Philip II of Macedon and was used in his Macedonian phalanxes as a replacement for the earlier dory, which was considerably shorter.

Hello kindred Empyrion spirits!

Let me start with a request; please respect blueprint authors. Often it takes months to finesse a build, and to have it ripped and reuploaded without permission or even so much as credit, can be discouraging, often pushing such authors away from the community.

I personally don't mind critical feedback, and constructive criticism, as it will serve me to better my builds. However, If you enjoy my content, and there is much more to come, respect my (and others) authorship of these massive timesinks. Thank You.

HOW TO CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME

1. First copy the desired color code found either here, or inside the Sarissa's compartment with control C.
2. While looking at the ship with color/texture tool out, right click to open texture palette, then click configure.
3. Your green selection box should be over the top left color. If not, left click it to select.
4. Now while holding down shift, left click the bottom right color box, then in the left UI box, hit paste.
5. Once done, your new palette should apply, but to lock it in you have to hit OK under the color palette box.

The Sarissa multirole SV

As a starter SV comes standard with 2 gatling guns for defense or limited offense.

Armament

While only coming with 2 gatling guns, the Sarissa can later mount a number of additional weapons, including 2-3 turrets for considerable punch when going against a range targets.

Armor

the rear compartment is mostly encased in steel, with some link-ins from thrusters, though the player can opt to close off those chain reactions by trading out compartment space, with armor blocks to mitigate chain reaction. Additionally there is some steel on the forward hull to block some shots leading into cockpit area.

Thrusters

The Sarissa features a wide variety of thruster mounting points on all axis, which should give a sufficient level of movement when fully utilized. Later stages may see the Sarissa become a little sluggish when fully kitted out, and players may want to upgrade to a more dedicated fighter for carrying out attack roles.

Features and Devices

Comes with Wifi, detector, 2 RCS, fridge, and oxygen dispenser, as well as an armor locker.

Storage

The Sarissa comes stock with 1300 ammo, and 2600 Harvest, both of which could be expanded if the player chooses to spend compartment space in that direction, which would see harvest max out at around 7500 when used to this end.

Additional there are 2 cargo boxes; one on exterior rear, and one secure box in internal compartment.

Lore and History

Tasked with building an affordable warp capable interceptor, Phoenix Starworks followed through the request with a number of designs, almost all of which ended up being outside the requested scope, either in terms of cost, or scale, or both. The Sarissa was the only project to come close, hitting most of the buyer's marks, though falling short on some key features, such as mounting for bigger thrusters.

The project would ultimately succeed, owing it's survival to exceeding expectations in several other categories, most notably the option to modify the frame to a wide degree.

Once produced, the Sarissa would come to light in a number of instancest as an acclaimed affordable light interceptor, serving with factions throughout the outer rim of Colonist and UCH space.

The most notable instance of its use, was when famed race car driver Fourover4, who at the time was working security patrol for UCH, while piloting a Sarissa, managed to track down and detain the notorious smuggler "Captain" Shepster_TCD, when detained, led to Phoenix Starworks' recovery of the Taurus LT prototype.

LyfeForse, I made a heavy custom fighter version of your ship here and posted it giving you all the props you deserve for it and full credit. Hope you like my custom version of it, it is for Reforged Eden and it gives the ship a lot more punch and warp capability. it also can mine and salvage, I tried to stay within the design feel. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3212646311
