AEV-1C "Castor" 8x8

A small grid exploration rover heavily inspired by the BTR family of armored vehicles.

The AEV-1C 8x8 (Armored Expeditionary Vehicle) "Castor" is an all-terrain mobile base, designed to operate semi-autonomously in harsh environments. Its redundant power systems, large diameter wheels and efficient armor placement allow the AEV to freely explore any planet in the Solar System.

The Castor comes equipped with a pressurized cabin for long-distance driving and 2 turreted weapons that will keep at bay hostile lifeforms and pirates alike.
