Description
FOR VERSION 1.2!
It's now fully made of oak and some aluminium instead of mainly foam, some oak and some aluminium and it flies pretty well.

My version of the Mitsubishi A6M2 "Zero" or "Zeke".

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

This is the early, pure fighter version launched from airplane carriers.
It's armed with 2 machine guns in the wings and 2 automatic cannons in the engine cowling (the weapons were actually the other way around but the larger guns do not fit in the wings so I switched places). It also has a drop tank to improve range.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brake (tap gently at speeds over 100kph).
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Machine guns and cannons.
Fire action 2/ Num 2: Drop tank.
Fire action 8/Num 8: Arrestor hook.

A note on the colour!
The Zero was not painted white as it's often depicted in popular culture but in a corrosion protection colour that was more of a muted green-gray-beige. The colour brightened a bit with age but was never really white. I chose a rather aged shade since it looks nicer than the rather dull freshly painted colour, but feel free to change it as you please. :)

Feel free to edit in any way you want, but if you re-upload publically in any way please acknowledge the original creation and creator.

Have fun!

Yeah there's been a lot of changes from 1.1.3 to 1.2 that make planes made in 1.1.3 go bananas. Also aerodynamics in 1.2 is pretty broken But I have now updated all my planes to work at least ok-ish in 1.2.
I'm not that interested in planes from the 20's and 30's but I can put them on my list. Who knows I might make one of them one day. :)

nice now it no longer goes 800 KPM. i was also wondering if you could make some early Japanese carrier based aircraft such as the Mitsubishi B1M and Nakajima A1N for uh absolutely and definitely no reason at all!
