Performance Maker for Massive Battles [WHIII Edition]

Description
*Mod is compatible with everything*

*note* the LOD ranges in this mod are best suitable for GTX and RTX graphics cards.

I decided to make a port of my Performance maker mod from Attila to WH3. VALUES in this mod are specially for WHIII, were tested and polished.

Now your graphics card should render massive battles better.

Ofcourse this mod will not make your 1050 to run WH3 like 3070, but couple of extra fps even for your potato can be almost guaranteed. If not, I dont beleive you. Ask 50 000 people who are using my mod why.

Remember, this mod is for helping your computer to handle massive battles, not to render effects, lighting or shadows. So if you are having performance issues even with normal scale battles, dont ask me.

About this mod:

Edited LOD ranges for units, so huge battles are not a problem anymore and still look great.

Now your graphics card should render a lot of soldiers better.

Enjoy, warrior.

The mod is Working.
just play the game and use replay battles to test it and see it yourself, i don't know why the mirror of madness benchmark can't show its effect.

can confirm @Zach is correct

UPDATE WHEN??????????????????????

update the mod

Unless there is a magic setting or button i'm not hitting?! 0 difference is made (noticeable and BENCHYMARKABLE which is important for actually knowing if a difference is being made)

This mod "works" by modifying the LOD (level of detail) levels for the game. LOD affects battles of any kind if there are units or, hell, *things*(like buildings or trees or grASS) in play, which unless you are editing textures mappings?, there always will be.

Such a mods impact would be noticeable as long as you are not framerate capped.

BIG OLE HOWEVER:
I just benchmarked it again, with no mod enabled and with just this mod enabled the mirrors of madness benchmark which is a 'big benchmark' that would show results from LOD edits.

No change, 61.2 fps. Ultra settings, which again would be affected by LOD changes. You can test this by subscribing to another LOD mod that indeed works and just run a benchmark and see the FPS change it induces.

This mod does *NOT* work. Opening it via RPFM generates a message at the bottom literally stating it is not compatible with Warhammer 3.

does it work or not?

@Zach this is for massive battles... benchmarks are not massive battles lol try testing in a 40 vs 40 battle.

this still work then ?

For me this mod made no discernible difference, and the fps difference in benchmarking was .7 fps (yep, 0.7 fps difference. Well within margin for error. . The mod also when opened with RPFM says it is not compatible with wh3, and instead points it to another total war title.

Also I was hoping to modify the mod for my own personal use how would i go about removing the projectile LOD changes? I opened it up in RPFM and all i was able to find was the LOD ID values.
