Description
Dark Magicks Await
An event mod that adds a handful of fleshy items and transformations, centred around the misanthropic wizard, Jink Fadoney, and the artefacts he had left behind. In (currently) one event, get either a new book, sword, or transformation based on the outcome!

Adds some disgusting, fleshy flavour to the game. Though this is just one chance encounter currently, I may explore more of the wizard's reach, including a cult of face-thieves, and potentially even an encounter with the ingrate himself.

What the mod adds:

Added Events:
A Cunningly Disguised Tower (Hostile SIte),
Lonely Grimoire (Victory)

Added Items:
Cunning Jinksword (T1-3, 1H Sword):
A weapon that can drain the life-force from it's victims and grant it to the user, alongside helping with magical performance.

Grimoire Jink (Offhand)
A powerful book of magic that allows the user to project forth fleshy vines to grab their enemies.


Added Transformations:
Jinkface:
More a curse than a blessing, trade beauty and likely any chance at a relationship with a heavily increased retirement
age, some magical bonuses, and some personality shifts. Just watch out you don't become the wizard.


Known Incompatibilities/Errors

Currently none I know of!

Thanks! workin on this stuff takes a good chunk of time I don't have at the minute, but *maybe*. If I do it'll be in a few months at least.

Tested it with other languages and this was definitely the issue, I didn't even think about it. Renamed all files to be nonspecific, and retested - should work in every language, though obviously the mod itself is just in english

ty for the suggestion, hoping this is the fix so people don't have to watch the grimoire of the cunning mime again

I'm also having the no text issue. I think the issue may be the same as the one the Loyal Lir mod and a few others had, where some of the text is only in EN_GB files, meaning they don't show up on other localizations (EN_US, in my case). According to a comment on the Lir mod, simply removing EN_GB from the file names of the properties files in assets/text should fix the issue.

Okay, event should only be triggered by characters with the right personality (Bookish, Leader, Snarky all 55 or higher). I'll update in a few minutes.:lilimok:

I was testing with characters that fit the parameters of the second encounter, so I missed it
