Description
For version 1.2
It flies... Well it flies. Straight and pitch up and down is no problem, rolling and turning... yeah e-mail Fluppi about that. (Don't, I'm just sick of the sh*tty fluid dynamics for big planes).

My second (and slightly) better version of the iconic Avro Lancaster Mk I heavy bomber.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

This is the Grand Slam version with the bomb bay doors removed to be able to fit one massive 22,000 lb bomb (bomb load codename Grand Slam) - the most powerful bomb dropped before the atomic bombs. It was used at very durable targets like submarine pens, fortifications etc.
The real Lancaster Grand Slam had the top turret removed too but I'll keep it since it's more fun.
It's also armed with 2 + 2 + 4 machine guns in nose, dorsal and rear turrets.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
B/Beacon: Retractable landing lights.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Grand Slam. *

NEW!
Fire in the engines!
PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary (without Alt): Fire in engine one.
Alt + PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary: Fire in engine two.
L/Headlights: Fire in engine three.
K/Hazard light: Fire in engine four.
I can't stop the engines since the plane won't fly with lopsided engines but you get a lot of smoke and some flames (as in orange smoke) for RP purposes.

* You may notice a couple of thrusters going off as you release the bomb, and I've added those to make it more probable to fall away from the plane with the nose slightly down since things fall a little however they want in the game regardless of weight distribution etc.

A green light will light up in the cockpit when the Grand Slam is away.

The turrets are controlled from their respective seat. Alt controls.
Arrow keys/Mouse: Aim.
Fire action/Num 1: Fire.

Camera 1: Bomb sight.
Camera 2: Nose turret.
Camera 3: Dorsal turret.
Camera 4: Rear turret.

The 22.000 lb/10,000 kg bomb makes the plane a little heavy (I've cheated a bit and made it slightly less heavy but it still goes big boom), so make sure to reach at least 150 kph on a long runway before you try to take off.

Feel free to edit, but if you re-upload publically in any way please acknowledge the original creation and creator.

Have fun!

And you are most welcome. It's nice that people enjoy using my stuff in the game. :)

The Typhoon/Tempest is on my list so who knows when I'll feel like building it. ;)

Well thank you anyways.... Btw I do have one question are you going to make a Tempest Mk V or a Tempest Vickers P in the future....? Just wondering ((and yes I know its a typhoon that has better stuff on it.)) Anyways thank you.

Thanks. :)
I will probably start building smaller planes again soon-ish and maybe even as I said some smaller bombers/ground attack aircraft, just not the biggest ones since they fly so poorly. But you never know. I just want to finish up adapting my existing planes to 1.2 before starting building a new one.

Oh well, Still your stuff is still good and I like how it is and even if you wont make anymore, Thank you for the stuff you made.

Sadly I probably won't be making any more four-engine bombers until the arodynamics in the game are fixed or reverted. It's hard to motivate myself to spend 30-40 hours building a plane that can't fly properly. 😕
I might build some two-engine ones since the Handley Page Hampden I just reuploaded isn't as affected by the "intersting" features as the big ones.
