Description

This mod changes the flak turrets effects

- bullets are smaller and not as bright
-the flak explosions are bigger, no damage values are changed this is just cosmetic
- new sound effects for the flak guns to make them sound more like ww2 flak guns
-flak explosions have been made less bright

this mod is intended to be used with the VRO_rebalance mod as vanilla flak turrets shoot alot faster so it will spam your screen with explosions

I have the impression that with the mod Flak is less effective. Maybe because smaller projectiles mean smaller hit box and less chance of collision? making them easier to dodge? in any case, my destroyers stopped dealing with fighters since I installed the mod.

I'm not convinced that this can be called a realistic effect :D if it was WW2 then maybe yes but here the action takes place in space :D. In a vacuum there are no such explosions with fireballs. Would there be a chance for a version of the mod without this explosion at the end? because of this explosion the Flak firing is even more annoying than before because it dazzles even more
