Description
Explanation and reason for this mod to exists
Did you know that Malus Tzarkan Whispers Missions have over 20 unique ancillaries and followers that you can gain through the whispers mechanic that really complement Malus faction making it one of the stronger ones for the DE? See Tzarkan Whispers Rewards List[totalwarwarhammer.fandom.com] for the complete list of ancillaries and followers.

Malus should not only be confederated as a secondary faction (which usually happens because the possession mechanic plus the inefficient Tzarkan Whispers mechanic is Warhammer3 like in how punishing it feels). but has a lot of potential as well to become one of the best dark elves faction to play as the player; This mod makes it possible by revamping the Tzarkan whispers mechanic so that is more fun and useful to use.

Normally in a 200+ turns play through you may come around 4 of the unique ancillaries or followers at max. Why is that? Because the calculations for the original Tzarkan Whispers missions are largely random (where one of this ancillaries will have a 55.5% chance of appearing). and there are large cooldown related to a mission being issued (20+ turns with random chance of being issued after 8-10 turns); finally, if the ancillary is not obtained when issued, it is lost forever.

Conclusion: you may end up being given a single mission between 30 to 50 turns after the previous mission with the possibility to lose the unique ancillaries or followers in the process!.

Solution: Changes introduced by this mod
  1. All missions types can be issued at the same time and not only a single one per turn. (Hard constraints imposed by CA: Only 3 missions can be at the UI at the same time; 1 of each mission type can be active at a time).
  2. Unique ancillaries and followers missions have a 99.4% chance to appear until they have been exhausted; making them appear as often as possible before giving way to the other two types of mission rewards: slaves or money. This will happen until there are no more unique ancillaries and followers to give.
  3. Unique ancillaries and followers that you did not reclaim in time (or their mission failed for some reason) cannot be lost. In the vanilla script this always happened. Right now it will be recycled back and you are guarantee to eventually gain the ancillary no matter what.
  4. There is no longer extra cooldown for missions. In the case of the ancillaries as they are detectable whether you have them or not, once an ancillary mission is completed another Tzarkan Whispers mission will automatically be issued. Meaning you could collect almost every ancillary by turn 40 (Do it at your own risk, because you will make a lot of enemies by doing it this way. Highly recommend not doing this in Legendary as it can be too risky. Watch out!).
  5. Even though I found no way to make mission other than the ancillary missions detectable, there are no extra cooldown for the other 2 types of missions (slaves or money), meaning that a new mission will automatically be triggered when the total turns issued are expired, independently if you completed the mission or not.
Example 1: A 10 turn mission is issued that gives MONEY or SLAVES; You complete it at turn 5. That means that after 6 more turns a new mission will be issue: so 11 turns after it was first issued!
Example 2: A 10 turn mission is issued that gives MONEY or SLAVES; You didn't completed it after 10 turns. In the next turn after it's expiration (so turn 11) a new mission of that type will be issued!
  6. Turn length for all missions have been reduced as to take advantage of the changes.
  7. Also the rewards and the ranges of each of the other types of missions (slaves or
money) have been re balanced so that the changes don't make them impossible or unfunny to fulfill.
  8. Reduced the Tzarkan Whispers possession penalty from completing a mission from 2 to 1 (If not it will become to costly rather quickly as fulfilling too many missions at the beginning really adds up on Malekith potion price).

Recommendations
Play Malus campaign in Ultra or the largest setting you can. If not the kill number of enemies missions will be kinda difficult to fulfill as they are not correctly balanced in vanilla (and I couldn't find a way to balance them either in this mod).

Looking forward
After a while I will try to add rare level ancillaries, banners and temporary buffs after all unique Tzarkan ancillaries have been claimed as possible pool prices. Try to make AI Malus also claim the ancillaries (but only if you have the DLC). Try to make it so one doesn't need to wait for the missions to naturally refresh.

This mod gives "outdated data pack" warning as 4.0.3. Installed the mod on this version myself so I cant say anything about previous versions of Shadows of Change update

I think it does. Prop Joe's mod maanger throws up this error
These packs overwrite CA data and should not be used when outdated:
malus_better_tzarkan_whispers.pack overwrites:
script\campaign\wh2_dlc14_tzarkans_whispers.lua

Probably not, I assume it overwrites the mission frequency change from 3.1 update
