Description
FOR VERSION 1.2!
It's now fully made of oak and some aluminium instead of mainly foam, some oak and some aluminium and it flies pretty well most of the time, but the utterly broken "dynamic" fluid dynamics system can make it behave erratically at times with twitching and sudden leaps in lift, aileron effect etc.

My version of Handley Page's medium bomber HP.52 Hampden.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

This bomber was widely used by the British during the first years of WW2 until it was replaced by the four-engine heavies like the Lancaster. It for example took part in the first night raid on Berlin and the 1,000-bomber raid on Cologne.
It has a crew of four and it is armed with 1 fixed forward machinegun operated by the pilot, 1 flexible machinegun in the nose operated by the navigator/bomber, 2 rearwards machineguns in the dorsal (back) position and 1 rearward machinegun in the ventral (belly) position.
It also carries 16 250 lb bombs for a total of a 4,000 lb bomb load.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
Hold X/Invert steering: Bomb bay doors.
L/Headlights: Landing lights.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Machine gun.
Fire action 2/Num 2: Bombs.*

The other machineguns are controlled from their respective seat** with Alt + Arrow keys or Mouse and Fire action 1/Num 1.

Camera 1: Nose machinegun.
Camera 2: Dorsal machinegun.
Camera 3: Ventral machinegun.
Camera 4: Bomb sight.

* Bombs will drop in sequence and it takes about 4 seconds for all to drop. A green light in the cockpit will inform the pilot when all have been released and it's safe to close the bomb bay doors.

** The ventral gunner is seated upside down due to lack of space and so they are not 100% dependent on a camera for sighting.
