Description
IF WINDOWS/REFLECTIONS ARE PURPLE SHADED USE:
-mat_specular 0 (in launch options) OR
mat_specular 0 (console command/autoexec.cfg)

YOU CAN PUT THIS IN AUTOEXEC.CFG FOR AUTOMATION IF WANT


This map is c5m1_waterfront from L4D2 but edited for a lot more enterable buildings and expanded map size.
It was somewhat rushed (buildings may not be completely furnished) as I wanted to get it out before NMRIH2.
I wanted to spend time learning ue4 in preperation of the release, I may want to create maps for it.

FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET SUBSCRIPTION BUTTON TO WORK AND PLAN ON FIXING PREVIOUS MAPS.

I will warn though to pack all the textures into each bsp each map will be around 200 mb. So will still equal out to about the same size as downloading the textures, but the bsp format allows for it to be run on servers which i understand.

yea i actually planned to quite awhile back honestly just been busy and haven't gotten to it. Will probably fix previous errors with the maps as well. ill attempt to get them fixed and uploaded around Christmas.

hey can you do it on your other two maps swamp fever and dark carnival what you did on this one ? all custom files to .BSP

basically, you first attach everything to .bsp with VIDE using auto + some manual file upload, then you leave the .nmo, .nav and .bsp in your nmrih/maps folder, later when using workshop uploader tool you only select your .bsp and the workshop will serve the files automatically, i know VIDE is not perfect, but at least you have one part complete

Hey thanks for the comment may I ask then how may I correct this? I've tried using vide to pack all the files into the bsp but when i tried it there was missing textures still. if that is the correct method maybe i did it wrong? But also how do you upload just a file with the bsp nav and nmo when i use the ingame addon uploader it only takes either bsp file or vpk? (sorry just been working to correct this issue to make it a proper upload and also do it to previous maps)

remember to use VIDE or Pakrat to attach all custom files to .BSP, uploading all folders inside VPK is not ideal for dedicated servers

warning, this file is a .VPK, so servers won't download or use the workshop link to serve files to clients, instead a FastDL webserver will be used, solution is to remove VPK pack and only upload .nmo .bsp .nav without any zip or pack
