No Stability

Description
Removes the inaccuracy penalty from low stability so that you can have fun with planes with guns again.

(This excludes remote missile error and the stability number itself.)

jets should use aircraft fuel as jet propellers used to be good even on land vehicles or ships last time i played. this fuel should be expensive, no reason to implement whole stability, but, wait they removed fuel and replaced it with materials in first place lol

I think this has been broken by the new camera update.

The problem with the stability mechanic is that it doesen't solve the main problem it was supposed to, you can still use missiles and you will only use missiles from now on, otherwise you can say goodbye to your rudder and flaps because you won't use those with any other weapon system.
So instead of making missiles less attractive for air vehicles it made them even more attractive and now all other weapon systems are borderline useless.
It's only game. 24 Jan, 2023 @ 2:12pm
You can choose to have it or not, personally I find this helps more than any "acceleration estimate" can against good evasion. Sinosoidal wave evasion would result in a highly off aiming regardless of anything bar remembering the exact movement patterns the ennemy goes through.

I'd say the devs are part of the community. In FTDs more than most games given that many, many of them were playing and/or modding before they worked for Nick.

whats most funny about people sayings its the "community" getting rid of a feature no one asked for, or who the person is who made it? Yeah its a dev of the feckin game lmao. This guy literally helps make the game and he made this mod to remove, a part of a game, he works on. That's truly the state of From the Depths.

say think u could make a mod that removes the recoil accuracy penalty some time

@Chrono Atog. The only reason why 200m/s flying squirrels is a issue in the first place because despite 6 years of development, the devs still haven't added any acceleration calculation in the AI's firing solution. Which BTW were made possible with WW2 era analog computers. Can't be that hard right? But instead they decided a roundabout way is to add "stability" that is almost universally hated

Good example of a community getting rid of a feature no one asked for.

Or even solved the issue it was trying to solve.

Nice mod for those that need it, but feels like a crutch and makes the game way too easy.

I will warn you this will make your play throughs way to easy again.

Way to easy to spam 200 M/S flying squirrels with a simple .50 mg weapon that can take out hard mode ships. Yes the Tyr can not solve 20 200 m/s ships with an .50mg flying every which way that cost around 3k-4k~ each so... 80k dealing with 1,000,000+ resource ships.
