Entropy: Zero 2 Blood Overhaul

This is a somewhat direct port of the Blood Decals & Particles from the popular Half-Life 2 Mod - Entropy: Zero 2. With fixes, polishing, additional textures, flesh variants, and added support for the Enhanced Blood Splatter System Addon.



Hey Everyone, it's been a hot minute. Over 9 months actually. That's right, all those babies that were conceived when I released the '2022' Blood Overhaul have been born already! Anyway, I'm back at it again to bring the Garry's Mod community another blood port from another top-shelf Source modification. Entropy: Zero 2 has been a hot topic as of late, and while I haven't played it yet - I did check it for blood decals. Which of course, has led us here. Unfortunately, it took a bit of elbow grease to get these working.

A direct port results in wireframes, improper scaling, and buggy textures for mods that unlock 'Blood7' and 'Blood8'. Luckily, The Crunch Man was on the job, and as much of an idiot as I am - I'm a stubborn one. Quality, and Simplicity are what matter to me. So I fixed the textures, replaced the VMT files, substituted 'Blood7/8', created yellow flesh decals and added some environment blood stain textures that complimented E:Z 2's impact decals. I also ported the blood particles, though I may remove them if many people request it.

So, there you have it! A new blood replacement featuring the quality and simplicity that my followers have come to expect from me. No additional downloads, no hidden .LUA scripts, no forced blood pooling, no shaders. Just Subscribe, and have fun!
