Better Ammo (More Ammunition Capacity)

Description
Better Ammo is a simple addon that serves one purpose, to increase ammo capacity. It is very configurable and because of this it can be used in private games, privately hosted multiplayer, and dedicated servers.

Supports the default Conquest Mode / DLC Weapon AI
Supports Improved Conquest Mode

Usage (IMPORTANT!)
To use the addon, rename your ammo storages one of the following, note that only 1 ammo storage can have one name. Do not skip numbers! Names: BetterAmmo_# Ex: BetterAmmo_1, BetterAmmo_2, etc Ammo # Ex: Ammo 1, Ammo 2, etc

Configurable Options
• Addon Enabled - Enables or disables the addon. • Multiplier - The multiplier for ammo count, 1 is normal Stormworks ammo. • Refill % - The amount of ammo that will be refilled when it runs out until it reaches the multiplier cap. • Reset on Refill - Weather or not the multiplier will reset whenever the source is fully refilled without the help of the addon.
You can change options in game using the command: ?betterammoconfig

How it Works
This addon works by replenishing your ammunition whenever you run out until the multiplier value is reached. Whenever you put ammo into it to fill it up it resets the multiplier.

This does that for vehicle weapons. I can expand it to do handheld weapons as well, not a bad idea.

i have a question. if you can make an addon that adds more ammo to the guns without infinite ammo is it possible to edit the xml files to give a gun more ammuntion for a build?

The whole point of the addon is to give more ammo without infinite ammo, so it would render the addon useless. There are likely other ways to do such things.

my idea is to just make it that you turn on inf ammo and like ass the smg reloads the reload is so fast that you dont notice it

The addon only works on vehicle based weapons at the moment, but in the future this could be possible.

im just asking but have you made it or not a mod that can have it so i can take a gun like the smg and fire it without stopping and never needing to reload

Its based on a multiplier. So say a drum holds 50 ammo. If you set the multiplier to 4 it will be 200.

So basically: ammo*multiplier=ammoAmount

Let me know if that answers your question.

This addon doesent change how ammo is normally handled, it only increases it's capacity. But I do see a future addon that might do this, not a bad idea.
