Seems useful considering how often I am just digging by hand even though Ive done this in real life and its no where near as hard as the game makes it sound.

>Useless mod
>Hands can be used to dig furrows

Dig one furrow with hand, injured hand, can't dig with other cuz the first hand is injured.
What is useless here is the logic of the people below me. Trowels are extremely useful, and digging graves is extremely useless. I like this mod, even if it's an old one. :spiffo:

So this shovel works as a trowel and not a shovel ? if thats true i have to agree its pretty useless :O

Cannot use this to dig a hole. So dumb - spent hours finally crafting a stone shovel and then realize that it can only dig furrows (which you can just use your hands). Completely useless mod.

this is great but personally I would like it not to require carpentry. why?
well i'm playing with "don't feed the zombies," which draws zombies to corpse piles. i need to be able to bury them, but on a hyper-low loot game, finding a shovel can be quite a task. in my current game i have something like 900 corpses strung out all around my base, and i can't do anything about them (well I can burn them but that's just as tedious as burying them). this, frankly, is the only reason i would even ever use a shovel.
also none of the other stone tools require carpentry xD
