Description
CRN Hellheim Class Armored Cruiser: 

The CRN Hellheim is the latest capital class warship to leave CRN dry docks. 250 meters in length the Hellheim is one of the largest cruisers currently in CRN active service. With copious amounts of firepower, and armor. The Hellheim is capable of engaging many different threats, in addition to functioning as a mobile command center. With speed and firepower the Hellheim is a formidable adversary for any faction. The third generation cruiser, the Hellheim compiles all of the CRN's gained knowledge from different combat engagements. Built with a redundant hydrogen piping system, the hellheim can take more than a few shots, and keep on fighting. Built to be rugged and durable the Hellheim is the CRN's main go to ship. When you need to break down the door, the Hellheim is your go to platform.

Lore: 

Commissioned in 2988 The Hellheim is the CRN's new competitive cruiser design. Built to replace the CRN's aging fleet of Beowulf classes, the CRN realized the need for a more efficient, and better armed warship. The Hellheim's main principle was to be able to fight in asymmetrical warfare, able to engage threats outnumbered, and outgunned and be able to come out on top. This task was not an easy one for CRN designers, who eventually settled on making a design almost entirely out of heavy armor. With built in redundancies to ensure a "lucky shot" would not incapacitate the whole warship. Republic engineers achieved this in multiple ways. Firstly by adding "composite armor" to the front of the ship, so in head on charges the ship can still fight, Additionally by adding a "redundant" piping system, providing multiple connections to all important systems, so one shot doesn't kill all movement in the ship. Furthermore the CRN needed a design that could also function as a mobile command ship for front line forces. The need for such a platform was further realized at the outbreak of the Insectoid, Republic war. Where the bug forces destroyed one of the CRN Beowulf command ships the Ardent Moon, and her escorting force. In this engagement only a third of the force came back. With this tactical failure the Next Generation Combat Cruiser program (NGCC) was fast tracked, with the first Hellheim prototype making its maiden flight just a few weeks later. Subsequently entering production shortly after. Untested the Hellheim didn't see combat until the Bug assault on Arcadia. Where the Hellheim served with distinction. Proving an invaluable asset to the CRN. She saw further use in one of the Republics largest naval operations. Where the Hellheim would make its largest combat debut. The main combat plan was to open up five separate corridors for CRN and allied forces to move through, into a system dubbed "Gideon". The Hellheim would form the main spearhead to push into enemy space. Purposely built for asymmetric warfare the Hellheim and escorting ships were able to push a spearhead straight through into the "Gideon" system. With overwhelming firepower, the ship pressed on into the system, engaging and destroying enemy warships left and right.

This ship is by far one of my favorite creations, I built it because I just figured I needed a more "Combat effective" replacement for my Beowulf. She has no sub grids which is nice. This also means that you could technically use her in survival if you wanted to, but I would not recommend it simply just because of her size. I should also credit Bones who helped me with the interior. Without his help I would not have finished this as quick as I did. It has pretty good performance in combat. Id say its one of my more combat effective warships. Ive sort of been trying to make a switch to making more combat effective stuff. This ship is positively massive. I spawned it in to look at it, went in, got lost. With free cam i first noticed how huge this ship is.
Phenomenal interior and exterior design. Maybe some signage would be neat? So many doors

How do you make it so impossibly laggy. Why. Its a beautiful ship, but its useless if it destroys a PC. 32 GB of ram, 1070ti, 8 GB VRAM. Nope. Game still dies. I HAVE SHADOWS OFF.

This thing looks absolutely amazing!

I am a server administrator and I think our players would love to do combat with this beauty. Would you be open to us adding this as an NPC for folks to fight?
