Description

I don't think anyone has made a fix for this subtle issue in specific so I decided to do it. It has bothered me for a long time. For some reason, Valve made the walking animation for the Autoshotgun / M1014 / Tactical shotgun inconsistent with every other gun, and I was quite surprised to see that the TLS update didn't fix this slight inconsistency. This "vanilla+" mod features the default TLS model with the default animations, with only the walking animation being altered to be smoother and more consistent with the other weapons.

This mod is compatible with retextures!

source files of the mod are included with the vpk, the weapon model is to be obtained by decompiling the one found in the "update" directory, the animation .smd's that are not present in the zip file are to be taken from the l4d2 sdk starter kit

Hey, is it better to use this version or the one in the Viewmodel Sound Fixes mod? the one there was lastly updated at the end of 2024 and the v_autoshotgun.mdl file is 163 kb and the version in this mod is 124kb, could you tell me what changed exactly between the last 2024 version and the the updated version from May? ty
