Inflation

Description
Feeling like mid-late game becomes too easy? Add inflation!

Features:
- Customize the inflation rate for construction and maintenance cost
- Choose how often the inflation kicks in (Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly)
- Choose if you want compound inflation or flat rate

Compound inflation is non-linear: each year the inflation get steeper and steeper, thus more and more expensive. Example for a wind turbine, at 5% yearly inflation:

- Year 0: $7,500
- Year 10 : $12,386
- Year 15: $15,917
- Year 20: $20,455
- Year 30: $33,782
- Year 50: $92,052

Mod can be added to a save file safely, as all values are dynamic. Changing the options mid-game also works.

Known issues:
- Refund is also with inflation, so if you use a mod that refunds 100%, you will get back more than what you paid. Since the refund cost is dynamically based on the construction cost, it would be difficult to fix.
- Construction panel only initialize the cost on load, but the cost is updated in real time during construction

@StayHungryStayFoolish Very late response but you could artificially raise incomes with the Realistic Population Mod

Can you make it high enough to compete with Venezuela's billion percent inflation?

@StayHungryStayFoolish, not really "more revenues". Cost can go up without a payrise to match.

I'm trying this on my next play.

Is this working with new update? If its not, any plan to update it?

@Amber Turd sorry, I could not get it. If "everything would be more expensive" means that there are more revenues (nominally) in most parts of the economy.

@StayHungryStayFoolish If your reason for inflation is a lack of supply, this is relatively accurate, as incomes would not increase in that scenario if you're producing less, but everything would be more expensive.

If it's inflation from money printing/whatever you want to call adding more cash in an economy, then this is not the mod for you.

I like the Inflation mod, but it only inflates the construction costs. This is not lifelike, without inflating the income. Sorry, I placed this mod to Compatible mods skipped from PazarCity collection.
