The battle of the Atlantic was brutal for the Royal Navy,
the German ships where much superior, one of them was the Tirtipz, one of the most powerfull Kreigsmarine ships, these beasts where very large and needed specific repairs in case of damages. One of the only Docks that could repair the Tirtipz was the port of Saint Nazaire, that contained a large dry dock, protected by a metal door, that would prevent the water from flooding.
The plan was easy, the British commando and Royal navy would crash a ww1 ship named Campbeltown on the door, and the rest of the Commandos would land near the crash, destroying water tanks and sabotage the port.
