Description
Adds seven pilots from Into the Breach (by Subset Games) as Invisible Inc agents. Includes custom art, unique abilities, bios, and in some cases both On File and Archive loadouts.

Requirements
Requires Sim Constructor and Function Library.

How to install
Subscribe to mod and to required mods. Launch game > Options > Gameplay > Refresh Mods > Ok. Exit the game and launch it again. Mod should now be available.

Breachers, Inc. was a Sankaku and Plastech co-owned personnel training company that sprung up during the Resource Wars and began experimenting with full-immersion battle simulation technology. The project recruited people from all walks of life, ostensibly to make a point that anyone was trainable, but really because desperation knows no barriers. In 2071, their parent company, weary of the budget hemorrhage caused by the extravagant methods required, hired Invisible, Inc. for a false flag operation as a preamble to dissolving the Breachers project. The head of Invisible Inc. had the acts of sabotage carried out as discussed... then turned around and snatched up their pilot personnel before they could be "liquidated". "Waste not, want not" was a philosophy Olivia Gladstone had always taken to heart.

It was Invisible's biggest recruitment boom to date, even though the former pilots are a little on the odd side. Spending years in an immersive training regimen convinced that you're the last bastion of humanity against an invading army of giant insects will do that to you, but it's a small price to pay for people who work well under pressure.


Silicon-based life forms
With the backing of Sankaku's drone industry, Breachers, Inc. employed state-of-the-art artificial intelligence prototypes to serve as autopilots and assist human trainees when required. The company's CTO was caught off guard when some of those autopilot bots emerged from the training exercises having made dramatic strides in cognition and empathy. This advancement in AI technology was kept under wraps from the rest of the world, no mean feat considering the exorbitant expenses of manufacturing custom-made android bodies for the newly-fledged sentients. A costly indulgence for a project gone out of hand, and one that would eventually be its downfall.

@Poor Boy Willy : Fixed again, hopefully for good this time. Sorry, really hectic week over here and it didn't crash for me before because of the agents I was testing with. But it should be fine.

I'm getting a new one now. The actual error is in the sim constructor but it wasn't happening before and your mod is in the stack.

@Poor Boy Willy : Oh, that's my bad. Little oversight with the minor bugfix I pushed yesterday.

I've been using this mod for a few months and it worked without issue until today, when the game suddenly started crashing after making the first move in a mission, regardless of whether I'm using an agent from this mod. I looked at the invisibleinc.txt file and it says workshop-2861508670/modinit.lua:580: attempt to index local 'weaponUnit' (a nil value).

Great mod by the way; it's my favorite of any I've tried for this game.

On-File Bethany's augment seems to cause all sorts of cloaks to be removed by sprinting. (At least "Fade" from Programs Extended. I haven't had the opportunity to try stealth rigs yet.)

@Titotitok : There was no deliberate exception for Chameleon Movement. However, I looked into it, and it was triggering inconsistently because the way Chameleon Movement is coded isn't very friendly towards turn 0 cloaking. And yes, it's the refresh mods button but you also need to restart the game. Keep an eye on the update notes, I'll push another bugfix today.

I might be unaware of how updating Invisible Inc mods is done. Is it just the "refresh mods" button? >-<

@Tikotitok : If you check the update notes, that one should also have been fixed already. Are you playing with the newest version?
