Coastal Raid - Uboat bunker

Description
The enemy is ready to test a new torpedo prototype. Our ships may not have countermeasures against them. They must be destroyed before they are put to use.

Mission Objectives:
- DESTROY ENY ammunition stockpile by use of remote detonation
- DESTROY ENY submarine by use of remote detonation
- DESTROY ENY cannons and launchers
- DESTROY MTB engine
- EXFILTRATE

ENY FORCES
The base is operated by approx 10 soldiers. The crews of the MTB and SUB are expected to count an additional 14. The enemy is not expecting an assault at this point. Most of the bunker forces are expected to be resting. The enemy has a small QRF in the nearby town, approx 1 SQD.

Success criterias:
- Infiltrate compound and disable light sources
- Simultaneous disabling of MTB personnel and systems
- Disabling of bases defense systems
- Explosive entry of sub
- Simultaneous remote detonation of sub and torpedo stockpile
- Exfiltration at MTB

REMEMBER:
Use slap charge or wall breach on torpedos. Otherwise they will explode and kill you.
Bring wall charges or other methods for entering the submarine! There are no doors or windows...

i'll risky to say its the best map in the game, i was able to do a pretty nice replay taking my 1 month of skill in consideration, ofc it wasnt like Ganjirah "the reaper" but i got pretty happy

Didn't bring a wall charge and one trooper got a terminally energetic surprise when rigging the ammo. It might be my screen resolution but the tips you've got under Remember: don't show up for me. Might be worth editing the briefing to fit that in, as I missed reading it in the Workshop.

Otherwise it's a great map, the details make it feel like a realistic special forces mission. I agree it could have some stronger opposition, or perhaps an earlier trigger on the QRF to make things interesting.

I wouldn't say it's boring, just different from the usual 40+ guys found in most maps. I took the opportunity to do some sweet CQB dance anyway :D But a little bit more tangos would definitly help the map a bit, especially given its size. And yeah I didn't split the team as I usually like to do because on these big maps it's hard to film good replays where you can clearly see what's going on.

I agree that the resistance is a bit on the light side. I made it with the thought of operating simultaneously at 3 different locations, so that there are only 2 operators available for any one problem. I'll consider adding some more xrays so that it won't be boring...

Great map. It felt realistic with the amount of resistance not being too much, but at the same time it made the map a bit too easy ( nailed it first try ). Not necessarly a bad thing. Good details and atmosphere. Here's my approach : https://youtu.be/sj4MNPO8sBI

I keep coming back to H&D-2 every few years! Was definitely the inspiration for the earlier submarine map. No other game has the same feel. Shots land very nicely and impactfully. Setting a game to "hard" and all it does is create bullet sponges. Lazy. :)
