SV-22 Osprey

The V-22 tilt-rotor, nicknamed Osprey, is the first American tilt-rotor with vertical take-off and landing and short-range take-off and landing capabilities. The V-22 tilt-rotor was jointly developed by Boeing and Bell Helicopter in the 1980s. The first flight was successful on March 19, 1989, after a long period of testing, modification and verification. On November 16, 2006, he entered the U.S. Air Force and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
