Description
Hello traveler, welcome to my very first Workshop mod, The Mod Elven Lords (let’s call this one a Beta) will take you along a journey as you help your Lord pick up the lost and forgotten memories of a glorious past.

This mod takes heavy inspiration from J.R.R. Tolkein’s works, particularly the Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings; Jabberwocky by Lewis Carrol; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and the sequel Through the Looking-Glass; and Wizards of the Coast Dungeons and Dragons.

Images were taken from prior data files from Illwinter Game Design Conquest of Elysium by Johan Karlsson and Kristoffer Osterman and Dominions.

Lastly, thanks to Nathan Pascal and Spore everyone else on the public Conquest of Elysium discord for the help.

Additional Notes: The Verdant Hall, Tower of the Vale, Elven Enclave, Tree Moot and Keep of the Queen are all defensive structures that allow the recruitment of new units. Almost all elven units with a few exceptions have a chance to start with magic items.

Okay scratch most of what I said about the resource the only one that seems to have an issue is the gems the amount I get each turn seems to be the same. I suspect the issue might be that you gather each gem separately as opposed to the compiled gem resource such as how it works for the hoburgers so that might be stopping it from working.

For the Jabberwocky you select the ritual then you click on a tile you want to unleash hell on then it just appears there and tries to kill any enemies there then wanders around attacking anything not on your side.

The sylvan king and high lord have to go to libraries to learn spells and from their description it seems intentional basically stating that yeah all of them are capable of learning these spells its just they don't always get the time to study.

Many of the structures say they increase trade, iron, gold, herbs and gems I've only noticed some giving gold none of the other resources seem affected

Hiya, enjoying this mod.
Problem: how do I create a Jabberwocky?
I saved up enough herbs for the Jabberwocky ritual, then it brought up a "select a plane" mini-menu. I've only found Elysium and Inferno so far, neither of them could be selected, so I had to cancel.
Do you have to somehow find a special "Faey" plane or something first? Or the hell plane?

sylvan king and elven high lord magic is broken - they do get the magic paths, but they do not get any spells, i dont know what is wrong^^ :)

I would very much like to see the king having the ability of the druid to create a Shepard of the woods nesting grounds

Im glad my mistake form before did not seem to cause catastrophic errors. Jabberwocky should be scary, so I boosted a few things. I'm hesitant to make it any stronger, as it simply would make it too effective against factions and independents that don't have magic weapons, or spells. The ability it has to be cast across the map and that it also has reasonable assassination attacks makes it quite deadly, especially if you have good vision from flying units or scrying.

The Lord of the Vale uses the longbow instead of magic (sry deleted previous comment)
The Jabberwocky is a bit underwelming, it died to a 60 Demo human army (just 14 fiends), maybe a bit more health? Dies bit by bit for 1dmgs every magic attack

I made a mistake in updating a new class by accident, hopefully it did not cause catastrophic issues.

"they have the potential to be potent mages, but with limited time to study such arts, they would need time in libraries to make use of their talent" my intent was for High Lord to be able to learn spells at libraries, which you should be able to, or with the use of scrolls. Ill test it out and see if they do in fact cast the spells if they learn a few or if they waste their turns using the bow attacks.

If this is an unpopular feature I'll try to devise a way to allow them to gain spells when they upgrade, or reduce their cost to upgrade them. They do gain Army Trainer at least. Feel free to let me know if you have any additional thought. I like feedback!
