Description
ABANDONED MOD - only still available for those who don't own GS

Adds a unique heavy cavalry unit from scenario Vikings, Traders, and Raiders! as a Knight replacement available for France and Germany. Unlocked earlier and does not suffer combat penalties when damaged.

This mod adds the last unique unit from Vikings Scenario as a Knight replacement for France and Germany. Compatible with base game, R&F and GS. Tested compatibility with Steel and Thunder. It should be compatible with majority of mods.

If you want to play all 3 units and have Gathering Storm, instead here is All Vikings Scenario units mod:

It contains Huscarls, Farfanes and Caballarii
All Vikings Scenario units mod is not compatible with this mod.

Use this if you want to play this unit in game modes with no expansions, or if you don't like other Vikings Scenario unique units.

Steel and Thunder already replaces French knight with a Gendarme, this definitely should be turned into an in-between unit instead.

You mean like cataphracts? About this unit, well i will see if thats possible, but it might not be anytime soon.

Would you consider creating a mod that uses this units assets to create a Heavy Cavalry unit in between the Knight and the Heavy Chariot?

Possibly called an Armored Horseman or something similar?

Steel and Thunder doesn't add such a unit, and it feels bad to go almost an entire era and a half without an upgrade.
