カルタス（CULTUS）とは、スズキが製造、販売していた乗用車である。
日本では1983年（昭和58年）から2002年（平成14年）にかけて販売されていた。

ここでは、Cセグメント5ドアBEVハーフバックとして復活したらといった妄想車種について解説する。

ハーフバックとは、ノッチバックとハッチバックを足して割ったような形状のことを指す独自用語である。
なぜあのような形状となったのかというと、空力性能もそうだが、中でも海外のプロダクトデザイナーである、イヴァン・ギュンター・メイブルグ(Ivan Gunther Maybrug)氏によって描かれたことが大きい。

Ivan氏のデザインは中でもCピラーにかけて、両サイドが盛り上がった形状のものが多く、「Matra M100」「愛産 サンパンダ(Aisan SunPanda)」などもその一種である。
そんなIvanの悪い癖が入った結果あのような形状となった。

しかしながら、デザインに反して、早い充電能力、低い電力使用率などがきっかけで同じセグメントの分野にて、「日産 リーフ」、「鯱丸 e-3X(Shachimaru e-3X)」に次ぐ販売台数をCities:Skylines各地で記録。
今日では日本国産BEV市場ではメジャーな車種に急成長した。

Halfback is a unique term that refers to a shape that is divided by adding a notchback and a hatchback.
The reason why it became such a shape is not only the aerodynamic performance, but also the fact that it was drawn by Mr. Ivan Gunther Maybrug, an overseas product designer.

Most of Ivan's designs have raised sides on the C-pillar, such as "Matra M100" and "Aisan SunPanda."
As a result of Ivan's bad habits, it became such a shape.

However, contrary to its design, its fast charging capability and low power usage rate have made it the second-largest sales vehicle in the same segment, following the Nissan LEAF and Shachimaru e-3X. : Recorded at various locations in Skylines.
Today, it has grown rapidly to become a major model in the Japanese domestic BEV market.
