Special conditions of detention: All instances of SCP-2107 should be kept in a storage cell KNN1 in Zone 19. It is possible to place any number of objects inside a low-temperature CNN cell before the experiment.

Mobile Task Force Theta-61 ("Carbonated Life Forms") should check possible locations of new instances of SCP-2107 on trading floors. Newly discovered SCP-2107 should be purchased in the usual way, if possible. In case of any problems with the seller or the discovery of large batches of the object, with the consent of an employee of the admission level 3/2107 and above, the following protocols can be put into effect: Seizure Protocol 0014 ("Secret Theft"), 0015 ("Undisguised robbery"), 0047 ("State cover"). Subjects exposed to the abnormal effects of SCP-2107 are subject to treatment with Class A amnesiacs and referral to the nearest hospital for the necessary medical care after exposure to the object.

Description: The designation SCP-2107 is assigned to a non-alcoholic beverage of the brand "Dietary Ghost ™ ", which exhibits abnormal properties when consumed.2 To date, the object is found exclusively in one jar. 3-7 seconds after consumption, subjects (hereinafter referred to as SCP-2107-a) begin to experience paranormal experiences, talk about being haunted by a ghost or other supernatural entity. The effect continues until SCP-2107 is completely digested in the subject's stomach. This moment comes about 1-3 hours after use.3 Studies have confirmed the proportional dependence of the effect of persecution (the latter includes the intensity of paranormal experiences, the likelihood and severity of physical injuries) on the dose of the drink.

SCP-2107 cans do not differ significantly from ordinary soda cans, have an inherent design and are seemingly non-anomalous. The cans have the "Dietary Ghost" logo on a blue background and the slogan "SCARE YOUR THIRST!". Most copies have a sticker with the inscription "Made of real ghosts!". It is unclear whether a number of cans have already been released without a sticker or it was removed after the seller received it. The composition of the drink is not indicated on the jar. The substance inside is no different in chemical composition from ordinary soda.

Discovery history: SCP-2107 was first discovered on 13.05.2012 during a food resupply at the entertainment center of Zone 19, when several employees bought 7 abnormal cans at a local hypermarket in ██████, ██. The partial remains of G██ t████, a senior maintenance employee of Zone 19, were found inside the van he requested for the purpose of the trip. Previously, the car was in the parking lot of Zone 19. At the time of the discovery of the body, two cans of SCP-2107 had been opened and emptied. D██ B███████, a junior service employee authorized to replenish food together with T████, returned to the hypermarket because he forgot to give a copy of the purchase receipt for the Fund's archive. According to B███████'s bank account, T████ was left alone for no more than five minutes.

Most of the detections occurred in stores during withdrawals from shopping malls and restaurants, including the remaining occurrences.4 Workers from the places of sale of the object were not aware of the origin of the product, and also had no records of its purchase. SCP-2107 was seized from sellers in 37 American states and 2 Canadian provinces. The production and distribution of the object is now being investigated.

Appendix dated 12/27/2014: The staff of the Zone ██ discovered and seized a previously unknown type of object bank. The vending machine of the cafe Zone ██ gave out 15 cans of SCP-2107. During the autopsy of the machine for the purpose of checking, nothing abnormal could be found. The new copies differ in the design of the jar: white silhouettes of tombstones, cats and painted ghosts appeared, located between the repeating logos of SCP-2701. It is also worth noting the appearance of new stickers on cans. The stickers have the same font, but the slogan varies: "From the creators of the Ghost!", "100% more fear!", "U-fear-creation is guaranteed!", "Your old favorite is back!". All instances of SCP-2107 from Zone ██ are en route to Zone 19 for experiments to confirm the similarity of effects and content. Changing the class of the object, the conditions of detention and adding vending machines to the list of possible places of appearance are now being considered.
