Description
Play as the Catholic Monarch, Isabella de Trastamara; in Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

The Castilians inherited their way into the leading Christian polity on the Iberian peninsula, rivaled by their cousins in Portugal and Aragon by the 14th century. The Castilians also helds a great tradition of military history, they eventually concluded the great reconquista for Iberia with assistance with Aragon, a nation aligned in Castile's interests through the marriage of the Catholic Monarchs Isabella I and Ferdinand II, respective leaders of Castile and Aragon. Castile, which had long held other kingdoms such as Galicia and Leon, would go on to centralize a united Spain led from Toledo, it was also the Castilians that spread Iberian influence to the new world and revolutionized pike-and-shot warfare in Europe. Castile was abolished in 1833 AD, but its legacy remains as the dominate Iberian language spoken by Hispanic peoples (Spanish is Castilian, unless Latinised).

Yes @Jav111, there is a Hispanidad/Lusophone expansion in the works much like my Beyond the Indus.

Awesome mod! Are you planning making other Iberian kingdoms as civs, such as León, Aragon, Asturias and Navarre?

Ferdinand I and Afonso IX would be good leaders for León, Pelagius and Afonso I would be good leaders for Asturias, while Jaume I and Sancho III would be good leaders for Aragon and Navarre respectively.

@McDuck I'll consider it for a later update.

For the map support, can you include support in TSL Iberia?

Dear @Strudeler of the Tart Society, thank you so much for your feedback.
Dahomey is a very interesting option. Unfortunately, many people forget Ghana, but it was really a big Great empire.
I, too, like you, love history very much. And for me, this game is not only a game, but also a "small opportunity to make an alternative story".
I'm glad you have a lot of ideas. Personally, I will really look forward to new mods for new civilizations from you.
If you suddenly have any questions about the civilizations that I have listed, I am ready to help in the discussion and to make some adjustments for a greater "historical identity".

    Dear @Shuhrat,

I've got a giant list of civs planned, a bucket list for Civ 6 if you will. You may be pleased to hear *every civilization and three of the leaders you mentioned are on said list, *except Ghana; I've only been thinking about Timbuktu and Dahomey for West Africa. As I've warned people before, these mods come to me via a muse, at random, when I feel inspired to make them (like when I figure out a unique playstyle, such as with Montenegro). There are many people waiting for other civs, I can't make promises. Some plans are also extremely technical, like my Bosnia which may never see the light of day. I don't know of anyone who takes request (for free). I make civilizations because history is my hobby and Civilization is my favourite game, that's why I make things and expect nothing. If you have money and want completely unique units, consider DPurdy, he can work on a commission but lacks the experience for an entire civilization.

    Best Regards,
    Strudeler Tarts

Well, a small addition. You've got a Cube in your dialogue here. She is also very much missed. A very interesting civilization would be

Dear friend, the author of this mod.
You almost always have new civilizations that are not yet in the original game or in mods here.
To whom, if not to you, should I turn with the idea of creating new civilizations?)
I have a lot of ideas, but unfortunately, I don't know how to make mods at all...
I believe that it is the data of civilization that is missing:
    1) Ghana Empire
    leader - Tunka Manin
    2) New Zealand
    leader - K.Holyoake
    3) Lithuania
    leader - Gedeminas
    4) Yugoslavia
    leader - J.B. Tito
    5) Libya
    leader - M.Gaddafi
    6) Afganistan
    leader - Ahmad S. Durrani

In fact, my list is much larger, I just highlighted the main contenders.
If you are interested, I will be ready for a dialogue.

    Dear Strudeler,

Thank you for your reply. Regarding remarriages in Civ V there was a way in which Austria, once he became the suzeran of a city state he could pay an amount of gold to annex that city state to his civilization, something similar to the great merchant that we can get in Civ VI and that makes it possible to annex a city state. In case the idea helps you.
Regarding your work don't worry, I know that most of the civilizations you create are by request of the followers of your creations and I understand that not all of them can be done, anyway I will continue to enjoy your mods, thank you very much for your kindness.

    Kind Regards
Strudeler of the Tart Society  [author] 21 Sep, 2022 @ 4:45pm
    Dear @Pity_chulipiruli,

Joanna is a good diplomatic ruler if I can figure how to add royal marriages, I doubt I will grant her a unique civilization though. I may introduce her in the Hispanidad series at a later date. Relatively speaking, I've had people waiting for requested civs since Carthage came out, these things really are released on a whim.

    Best Regards,
    Strudeler Tarts
