Drivers in the Brick Rigs International Championship Stock Car Auto Racing use custom-built race cars with bodywork heavily based on everyday roadgoing cars. These use a standard stock car frame, provided by Car Crusher. The bodies are based off of workshop cars.
Around the time NASCAR cars became more modified, traditional stock car racing broke off from the group and kept doing what it had always done. This fictional series is a blend of the two types, with more liberty for different and more accurate body styles, linked to the now-defunct Community Street Stock series. The short-lived third generation cars took a lot of "inspiration" from the NASCAR Car of Tomorrow, which proved to be cumbersome and unpopular.
