Custom Guilt Duration

Description
Have you ever wondered why a raider who slaugthered everyone in your colony is only considered guilty for 24 hours?
Or had to postpone a prisoner execution, but then suffered a mood penalty due to expired guilt?
Then this mod is for you!


This mod adds a settings menu where you can set your own fixed duration of guilt or enable "per violation" guilt stacking. (does not affect Trial verdicts)

By default this mod sets the guilt duration to 120 hours (5 days). Vanilla setting is 24 hours (1 day).

@Selen, do you manage to make this mod work flawlessly? I too have the same experience of guilt duration reset when downed. But it only happens to any modded knockdown mechanic, like RH Hand to Hand CQC, Melee Animation. I don't use Alpha Genes either

in case someone in the distant future encounters the same issue: try putting this mod at the top of the mod list. That's what made it work for me

doesn't seem to be working in my (tiny) mod list either. I'm not using alpha genes, so it must be something different

tobiaslarsson87 in 2023 stated that Alpha Genes caused such behavior. I am also using Alpha Genes... Is it possible that the issue still persist? Is it possible to resolve it?

Disregard my previous statement.
Default raders when downed get vanilla 24h guilt duration.
Colonists that misbehave get modded guilt duration.
I don't even know anymore...

Same as Katie. I didn't delete anything, just added a couple new mods, but it seems to be working well now somehow.

Where / How do I set the guilt-duration?

Also, it would be nice if it could be appleied retroactively onto already captured (still guilty, but 1 day duration) pawns, so the guilt period can be extended.
