Eltharion the Blind

*NOTICE* All of my screenshots are taken with my certified potato pc™.
This means (at least in theory) that my custom models will look better on your high-end machine (if you do have one).

This mod changes Eltharion's model and animation to somewhat resemble his retconned 6th edition's appearance.
This modification is active for all of the Eltharion's variants (on foot+mounts) but the mounted versions look/may behave weirdly due to animation limitations so you should avoid using them if possible.
This mod also modifies Eltharion's weapon values for all of his variants.

This mod will not be compatible:
-Other Eltharion's reskins
-Mods that modify Eltharion's land_units_tables values since I changed the animations and melee weapon values
-Mods that modify Eltharion's campaign_character_arts_tables values since I had to change some stuff there

This mod will NOT change:
-Eltharion's intro video
-Eltharion's name
-Eltharion's unit card
-Eltharion's porthole

*KNOWN ISSUES*
-The mounted versions are usable but not recommended due to minor bugs/being odd looking if compared to the on foot version
-Not really a "known issue" but I'll point it out anyway:It seems to work fine for campaign but there is always a chance that random bugs or some tech/line upgrades that adds stuff/abilities/traits to Eltharion may bug out the custom model so be careful.
-If you are experiencing weird glowing effects on the units then please use this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2922534576 until CA officially fixes that issue.
-Missing textures with certain graphic settings/while looking from certain angles: LOD issues/missing textures issues can be caused by low settings, LOD mods, Immortal Empires BETA bugs and/or even some faulty version of H3ro asset editor.
Translated= I generally can't do anything about that.
If you are experiencing low poly models+missing textures related to the current state of the game there isn't a common solution that works for everyone, but I managed to fix that by doing the following:
-Disable Sharpening
-Enable FXAA
-Enable Unlimited video memory

Look: if I could have used Eltharion's head model I would have done so.
It wasn't possible since there is literally nothing under Eltharion's helmet (no textures) and the few remaining textures didn't even resemble Eltharion's skin (they were almost purplish).
So I could have either took the only visible part of Eltharion's face and forcibly slapped it on another head's model (and probably looking horrible and grotesque in the process) or work on the next best thing available which (in my opinion) is Alastar; I chose the latter.

-"Are you planning to make reskins for other heroes/lords?"
No, not really.
I'm not really a reskinner and usually do this stuff only when I'm really interested in certain concepts or really bothered by how a vanilla unit looks.
In this specific case I was interested by Eltharion the Blind's concept.

-"I don't like X or Y about this mod, can you change it?"
No, this mod is final.
Feel free to make submods or even use this mod as a base for your own Eltharion the Blind mod though, just remember to mention me and we are cool.

-"Will this be compatible with SFO/Radious?"
No.
I had to change Eltharion's land_units_tables values and big overhaul mods need to change values in the land_units_tables so this mod will need a proper SFO/Radious compatibility submod.
As a matter of fact I'm officially retired from SFO/Overhaul related mods, so don't expect any compatibility submod from me.
As always: If you already have previous experience in SFO/Overhaul submodding feel free to make an SFO/Radious/ecc version out of any of my mods that are currently missing one, I will link your submods if you provide me with a link.

-"Your mods are ugly and janky, why? just why?"
Here's a friendly reminder: I'm just an amateur and nothing more.
If you want beautiful stuff with no jank then stick with CA and/or professional modders and avoid my mods, simple as that really.
