Keihan5000 -New color-

This is a newly painted Keihan Series 5000 asset, which first appeared in Japan in 1970 and continued to run until the end of the series.
It appeared in 7-car formation and contributed to ensuring punctuality by reducing boarding and alighting times during rush hours. It was operated mainly on ordinary, sectional express, and commuter semi-express trains during the busiest hours. The Series 5000 was a revolutionary car with an innovative idea and technology: during rush hours, it could be operated as a 5-door car with the seats stored in the ceiling, and during non-rush hours, it could be operated as a 3-door car with the seats lowered.

Currently, a project to reissue the Series 5000 is underway, and construction is underway to display the cars at SANZEN-HIROBA in the KUZUHA MALL. We have reproduced the Series 5000, a crystallization of technology that has been running for about 50 years and has contributed greatly to Keihan Electric Railway and its users, so that it can continue running in the game as well.
