Description
This is a moving, collapsible crane designed to load and unload shipping containers onto trucks and trains. It has 2 modular diesel engines allowing it to move very slowly around an area. It has 6 large wheels with the front and back wheels able to turn. It has working lights and a remote-controlled overhead crane. The crane can move forward, backward, sideways, vertically, and it can rotate 360 degrees as required. The crane itself is small enough to fit in a large hangar work bench and it can be raised up to almost twice its height from the driver's seat. There are hose anchors and pumps to refuel the crane on the front two legs. The fuel tanks for the engines are not connected and will need to be filled separately. The actual crane uses 4 medium winches to raise and lower a lifting block build for 11x11, 11x29, and 11x59 sized shipping containers.

Starting the engines to drive the crane is very simple. Turn the fuel pumps on using the purple panel to the right of the steering wheel. Then turn the key also to the right of the steering wheel. Finally release the brakes using the last switch on the yellow panel to the right of the steering wheel. It can move forward and backward with w/s and it steers using a/d.

Using the crane is a little more complex. There is a handheld remote control to the left of the steering wheel. Use the gray panel beneath it to set the frequency for the crane controls. Use w/s to move the crane forward and backwards, a/d to move the crane left and right, use up/down to raise and lower the lifting block, and use left/right to rotate the lifting block clockwise and counterclockwise. Hotkey 1 activates the electrical connectors (The red and green lights on the lifting block are active when the connectors are on). Hotkey 2 rotates the connectors for an 11x11 container. Hotkey 3 rotates the connectors for an 11x29 container. Hotkey 4 rotates the connectors for an 11x59 container. My 11x59 containers have connectors at the same positions for 11x29 and 11x59 so keys 3 and 4 both can be used for those sized containers. The controls have been modified to be "Push-to-Toggle" to allow the operator to move to a new position without dropping the container. To compensate for this, push the button to activate the control and then push it again to turn it "Off" on the remote. This will allow the remote to be switched off without dropping the container from the crane. The control scheme is shown on painted signs behind the driver's seat. Activating hotkey 3 from the seat will turn on the lights showing which keys to press for each command when using the remote.
