Original mod notes (1.1):

This mod buffs wargs and changes them from strict carnivores to just regular carnivores (they can eat kibble now). Unfortunately their diet isn't really supported for much of the game. Taking them into caravans isn't really something that works, and keeping them in general was just a huge hassle, unfun, and a distraction, even if you only keep them at your home base.

This mod makes Wargs tougher and very slightly faster; they can take more damage and can deal more too.

They are supposed to be unnaturally powerful with "vicious unnatural claws and an absurdly powerful bite." and "descendants of weaponized military animals created for population suppression," so I went ahead and gave them a bit of a buff along with changing their diet, considering that they're essentially super predators and all.

The game recognizes that they are stronger now, and they will consider hunting anything smaller than a rhino.

They are also more likely to attack someone that attacks them in the wild, but are less likely to attack someone because of a failed tame chance considering that their ancestors were tamed military animals. I've kind of altered their lore in the description, but enough of that; read it if you want to.

Wargs are considered larger now - 50% to be exact - and their drawn representations are slightly larger too.
They eat more too now (almost twice as much), but considering that you can feed them kibble now, it's not something burdensome.

They still aren't much use in a serious battle though, but when equipped with armor from mods and a shield belt too they can be silly strong.

Does this let wargs eat pemmican?

so there was a mod that let wargs eat corpses without the chance of food poisoning, it doesn't look like its been maintained. Is that still an issue? if so maybe it could be added to this to help feed wargs corpses as a main diet?

Thank you for the original mod and being ok with me updating it! It did need an update in that you were overwriting defs, which isn't exactly best practice - I converted it to patches to improve compatibility. No need really to delete your old one, it did work.

Hey thanks for keeping this mod up for all these years that I was away from the game.

yeah maybe scale them down a bit too. Had an army of them and put them in a cave (cuz my playthrough was about a bunch of war hungry xenophobic robot mechs who hate humans and lives in giant caves. But when i tamed a bunch of wargs it got pretty hard to navigate my robots around because the damn wargs kept blocking the way cuz they were too big

Nice, i really missed this. The size increase definitely makes them get shot more often but they're really just not practical without this so ill take it.
