It's a simple and original addon at all. It won't even affect your FPS and optimization at all. The map will be the one on which you will play, and if it turned out not to be correct, it can be replaced via files with your own.

Lead to Console
bind "your key" openmap - Tears off your minimap
cl_point_r 0-255 - Red color of the player on the map
cl_point_g 0-255 - Green color of the player on the map
cl_point_b 0-255 - Blue color of the player on the map
cl_map_displayfriends 1-0 - Enable/Disable position of friends on map
cl_friendpoint_r 0-255 - Red color of friends point on map
cl_friendpoint_g 0-255 - Green color of friends point on map
cl_friendpoint_b 0-255 - Blue color of friends point on map

all saved data will be on this path: garrysmod/data/mapimages
To get an image on your minimap, you must log into the game and select any card from your available ones, then write in the chat !rebuildmap, then write to the chat !map or open the minimap with your own key. After that you will have an image in the format JPG . Done now you can replace it with your own image or do whatever you want with it, just know that the format is supported only in JPG.
