Description
This addon overlays the Apex Legends flesh impact sound effect over PolisMassa's High Velocity Flesh Impactsound files. These are the sound effects that play when you hit flesh.

Like the original mod, I wanted better flesh bullet impact sounds to better reflect the velocity of the projectiles, as well as to enhance the sound feedback from shooting to help with aiming. These impact sounds will be subtle, but I made them louder than the vanilla sounds, so they will be more noticeable the more you have mods that reduce or silence weapon firing sounds.

This mod goes well with a mod of mine which overlays the Overwatch Eliminated sound effect over common infected death sounds. With either or both of these mods together, you can improve your confidence in your aim through improved sound feedback.

pretty much, yes. It has to be much louder than normal though, 'cause the sounds will come from the actors. If you want hitmarker sounds that are not dependent on distance, you can try this one in addition to this mod. Then just follow the instructions there to customize it, I suppose. (I also use that one, as a local mod so that I can customize it.)

@iiTzFenix it's not very noticeable in the din of battle, but it's more noticeable if you have mods that suppress or silence weapon sounds, and the zombies die at really close range. I made the sound as loud as I can without destroying the quality of it; that's just how the game tunes that specific sound effect's volume. :D
