This mod is an updated version of the 1.6 Animated Sectoid portraits by Rocket. None of the 2D assets were changed but a lot of the code was updated and reworked.

This update addresses many of the issues that caused problems when trying to use such an outdated pack with modern Stellaris, namely the issue of the custom species not having traits and their name lists throwing errors.

Just like the original mod, this updated version has the following (quoted from the original mod's page):

The biggest deviation from the original release is the removal of the prescripted empire. This was out of convenience and probably won't be added back in.

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with most other mods, provided they do not add a new species class for Sectoids.

It is updated to 3.8. Most of the portrait mods really just needed a version change which I took care of on release day.

As far as the flag changing, I don't quite know how to fix that off the top of my head. I'll poke around in the files some when I'm not working on updating New Dawn stuff.
