At the initial stage of service, Jinan Ship was equipped with 76 type double barrel 57mm naval gun. Because of the immature technology, it was replaced with 76 type double barrel 37mm naval gun in the subsequent transformation. At the same time, the port number was changed from the previous 223 to 105, and the new white coating and green deck were also used in the appearance.
