Following the trend of the paramount invention, the Euphrates-7 Merge system, the ISC: Volition is designed as the first element to a much larger mobile system ship that is still resting in R&D. It has modular merge blocks on the rear "fin" to facilitate the docking later planned to occur.

In the meantime, the Volition fills the crucial "Carrier" slot that the ISC Navy was missing. It is designed with 4 support craft on the wings, not docked but MERGED via the Euphrates. This allows the attached craft to function in sync with the systems of the Volition itself, even providing additional thrust, and in the case of the 2 outer ISC: Remora fighter/bombers, a secondary weapon system.

Belowdecks on the Volition is a standard low-clearance docking bay for independent craft with 6 docking clamps in the ground. Just above is the command center, and to either side, the chambers for the Volitions primary weapon system.

The volition brings the most devastating weapon system in the ISC naval fleet- not one but TWO Terminus-class Railguns, pre-loaded with Artemis-6 warheads. When powered on, the Teminus guns generate a gravity field so volitile, the entire ship is pulled forward at almost one meter per second. When ready to fire, the Artemis are undocked from the chamberfloor, and the gravity accelerates the warheads to 144 Meters/second, in under 2 seconds of firing.
The Railgun can also be loaded with kinetic lances, or the dreaded Halberd balanced lance, measuring half the length of the chamber itself, and capable of puncturing 4 cubits of Titan-class heavy armor. The railguns, when not in use, are shielded by a rotating pair of titan shields.

The ship is protected from ballistic missile incursion VIA 5 deck-mounted RK-TER gatling turrets, With another 5 configured to target all moving enteties, including distant craft. An array of RSH-90 guided missile systems provides a hail of forward-facing fire against enemy cruisers, and can also target fighter craft harassing the ship with relative accuracy.
When the Remora fighter drones are attached, the Volition also enjoys 8 maunal-guidance missile launchers.

In addition to the afformentioned Combat drones, there are also 2 SUPPORT drones attached to the inner win of the carrier. The ISC: Apolo repair drone bears a pair off free-space arc delivery irons to close gaps in armor, adimister new parts to damaged components, and remove the old ones.
When the combat is concluded, the ISC:Feldt salvage craft can strip the remains of a broken craft to dust and memories, carrying all the useful materials back to the volition for deposit on a support ship, like the Wrath.

To the aft of the ship, below the enrty fin, the Volition also houses a dock for 3 Kodiak ground-effect All-terrain rovers.

IMPORTANT NOTES

-The warheads in the railgun are a hasty design, more of a proof of concept. They can sometimes tumble on launch and cause... explosions. If someone comes up with a better design that works with the current railgun chambers (or with minimal changes to them) then I will probably go ahead and use the new design, and issue a re-upload, but with your Space Engineers company/name credited!

-Each docking bay (in use) has been rung with docking lights which can be found in the CP. They are matched to the cabin lights inside the drones themselves, this assists in keeping everything...where it should be.

-I have noticed that sometimes, a block group will go missing from the CP. I don't know why.

-The railguns, when powered on, pull the ship forward at 0.8m/s. It has something to do with the warheads. This makes docking and undocking of the drones very unsafe for the merge-pins.
-Also, when the railguns are powered on, there is a lot of gravity in the command room. It could be fixed by removing the rails of G-Gens nearest the command room wall. I dont wanna though. Guns on, everyone SIT THE ♥♥♥♥ DOWN!

-The railgun blast doors are a super simple rotor. Just flip the "Rail Gun Blast Door Lock" to "OFF" and the Motor to "ON", and shut er' off when its at 12 o'clock. Then, to close, just turn on the lock, and rotate the door back to 6 o'clock and shut the motor off, it will lock automatically.

-Same goes for the ATV door in the back.

-On the note of the ATV bay, those preloaded ATV's are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, because ive never built cars in this game before. Again, Proof of Concept. Oh, and they flip over sometimes, despite the docking gears.

@ crookedstar....heavy armour = less penertration from another gravity lance?
at the expense of speed/manovourabilty.

Seriously? you build the ENTIRE thing out of heavy armor? talk about hugely un-need weight waste.
