FOX PLAZA

Fox Plaza, Century City, Los Angeles. This iconic building was built in 1987 and was designed to stand out. With multiple different faces, angles, curved glass canopies and window layouts it is by far one of the worst buildings to pick as your very first big model. That's where I come in and after over 80 hours of modelling, texturing, and making the most accurate to life model possible, it is now ready and yours to use.

Fox Plaza has had many occupants in its time. Former US President Ronald Reagan had his offices on the 34th floor of the building for several years after leaving public office. It is now occupied by Fox, who actually don't own this building. But it is mostly remembered for its appearance in the hit 1998 action movie Die Hard (a favourite film of mine) where it was portrayed as the fictional Nakatomi Plaza (also known as Nakatomi Tower), a building owned by a fictional Japanese conglomerate. This was pretty much the whole reason I decided to build this.
One of it's least known movie roles is as one of the background buildings that blows up and collapses during the closing sequence of Fight Club (also one of my favourites)

Pointless fact; The Fox plaza building features a unique HVAC system where in the core of the building is located a large vertical air shaft. The air shaft begins below the building, as an outdoor, cooler air intake pushing air to each floor's fan room, and on the roof is located an exhaust for stale air. Rumour has it if you look hard enough, you will find a dumb Irish flat-foot cop ruining a perfectly goof Christmas heist.

You will need to ensure you have Rotor Shader mods (ill list them soon) as well as prop and tree anarchy. Other than that you should be fine. Make sure you add the props form the list. I added a few of my own, some pots and fox plaza related signs.

This project took a part of my sanity and at the moment I can't say I will be doing anything this size anytime soon, but if i get the right encouragement maybe i will. Im off to get some air and touch some grass now.
