The Phantom Ruby's on the fritz once again! Ray the Flying Squirrel from the Sonic the Hedgehog series gracefully glides into in Smack Studio! What was initially supposed to be an easy Echo Fighter quickly spiralled out of control into this mostly brand new moveset. Oops!

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Ray-copter
It's a simple spinning tail attack that moves forward and slows Ray's fall a little!

SIDE SPECIAL: Spin Dash
Hold down the special button to rev up Ray's Spin Dash to full charge - denoted by the little sparkle FX. He'll rocket forwards in a ball, which can be cancelled into jump or Running A.

UP SPECIAL: Glide
Ray takes to the skies! Press down to descend and build up energy. Press up to convert that energy into another vertical boost! This move can only be used once after Ray leaves the ground - but it's cancellable into other attacks!

DOWN SPECIAL: Bean's Bomb
Ray borrows a bomb from Bean the Dynamite and chucks it with his tail, just like in the IDW comics! Careful though - these things are bouncy and volatile. Sometimes they return to sender!

ULTRA: Animal Capsule
Ray jumps on an Animal Capsule as if he just cleared a stage, freeing a torrent of adorable critters. If you can catch your opponent in a consistent stream, they're basically as good as finished!

OTHER NOTES
- Ray can cancel Running A into other attacks!
