battle_fought_ is a Last Man Standing game mode, where players have to survive to be the last one alive with loot they find in supply boxes scattered around the map*.
Keep in mind that server owners can add add-on's that can change the experience.

*-Supply boxes require files with coordinates to exist in the DATA folder. They can be created in Sandbox using the hastily made battle_fought_boxer_. Left click to place a crate and right click to save the file to the server. Admins only!

Game-play loop

Spawn in
Find a supply box
Eliminate anyone standing in your way
(Possibly) Die
(Possibly) Communicate with other spectators
(Possibly) Be the winner
(Possibly) Lose due to time running out

Features
This game mode comes with the following features:

- Call of Duty-styled gun play, where guns actually have recoil
- A warm-up arena before the actual game starts
- Game starts after half of the players vote for it to happen
- Easily translatable
- Lightweight in size (2 images, a sound and a font)
- Developer-friendly
- Supply box weapons/starting weapons are customizable via a Lua file
- Sandbox-like taunting

Setup
There are only a few con vars, which are the following:

bftserver_starttime - Freeze-time duration when the game starts. bftserver_roundtime - Round time limit. Set to 0 to disable it. If time runs out, no one wins. bftserver_endtime - Time until warm-up starts again after the last person dies. bfthud_xoffset - Horizontal offset in pixels on each side. bfthud_yoffset - Vertical offset in pixels on each side. bfthud_attention - Adds extra HUD effects. 1 adds armor breaking and the low HP vignette, 0 disables them

Mapping
A map would require:

- A medium to large area
- Many spawn points around the map
- Usually small filesize, optional

Starting a server
For running a server, please run the game mode from a workshop collection to ensure the latest version is installed at all times. No support will be offered if you downloaded the game mode in other ways.
