A frigate developed by DSI, the Index-Class is a series of star-ships dedicated to protecting larger vessels such as capital ships or haulers. Not overly light nor overly heavy, this ship is the perfect Goldilocks candidate to complete your mission, whatever it might be.

Index-Class ships are primarily designed for space, but a mix of Ion and Hydrogen thrusters ensure that if the mission dictates it, the ship can move within atmosphere.

Armed with six Fell-Hammer artillery turrets, four Dragon-fire anti-air emplacements, eight Faraday co-axial artillery cannons, and a plethora of Firefly PDC turrets, Index-Class ships are built to last; and with the inclusion of the integrated Diviner Jolt Cannon at the fore of the vessel, enemies hoping to run stand no chance of escape. The turret mounted at the top of the Index-Class, the Physical Energy Nullifier, or PEN for short, is the ideal choice for knocking out those larger ships for when the Diviner or Faradays can't get on target fast enough.

This specific ship is the "Something Wicked," a vessel belonging to the independent contractor group known as "The Jolly Rouges." It has served with distinction in defending several key ambassadors and politicians throughout the galaxy, though some say that group may have ties to more unsavory elements in the Great Beyond.

Note: Two mods were used in the making of this craft, though they are entirely optional. This craft is perfectly serviceable without them.

[VSI] Recolorable Thrusters by Darkmist was used to change the color of all thrusters to the light blue glow seen in the thumbnail.

Adjustable Thruster Multipliers by Meridius_IX / Lucas was used to increase braking performance by a factor of 3x.
