Description
THIS VERSION IS NOW OUTDATED! Look in the linked collection for the most recent version!

At long last, it's finally here! Hello and welcome to POVC 1.0!

IMPORTANT: I think I forgot to add the Micro Speed Scenery mod to the list of packaged mods on this item, so please make sure to download that mod (it is in the required items list), even if you have already downloaded the layout!

This layout is what the official Paranapiacaba layout was going to be!

When this layout was being developed, it originally had a steel mill section. However, that area was removed for whatever reason decently early on.

There is an easter egg that allows you to access this older version, and I have finished it! This is a piece of Rolling Line history brought back to life!

I have been working on this layout since December of 2020, and it's now finally finished. This layout is not huge, but I have poured my heart and soul into it.

There were 7 beta releases of this layout so people on the workshop could have early access to the layout. You can find those betas in the linked collection. Here's what changed since the last beta:

-Added more details around the layout in areas where they were needed like Paranapiacaba, the steel mill, and MRS logistics

-Added more easter eggs

-Added some foliage details to the skybox lake area that I forgot to add in 0.7

-Added lighting to most of the buildings on the layout

-Changed a few switch lever styles around the layout and all of the ones in the steel mill

-Adjusted rolling stock and trains (again) and added a new locomotive for working at the steel mill, along with a few new modded trains.

-Added info boards around the layout.

-Removed the “Full Layout” switchboard that was placed near Paranapiacaba and replaced it with an info board.

For those who have been following the project since 2020, thank you for your patience! I had many distractions and other things to do during development. I probably could have gotten this layout out in a month or so if I had continuously worked on it. Some of the betas and work was delayed too because I wanted to wait for updates to come out.

As Rolling Line gets updates and new mods come out, I may update or expand this layout and release a version 1.1 in the future. No promises though.

Enjoy! If you have any questions or find any problems, leave a comment!

Ooh I figured it out. You found an easter egg that I put in the map. It's one of a series of sign-looking props that can be obtained from the official easter egg openable item thingies. There's a sign for a few of the different easter eggs in the game. What you did was point at the sign and teleport to it, which causes you to get teleported to the corresponding easter egg. I had no idea those signs had that function until now.

hmm. well if you want to find it, its in the steel mill, left of the coal cars somewhere in the buildings

Really? I'm guessing how that happened is because the trigger to access the first version of the map, the barely built one, is built into the custom terrain asset that the official map uses, which is present on POVC. You must have activated it by accident.
