Description
The Dragonfly
A small grid scout and light attack aircraft

The LAC-3 (Light Atmospheric Craft) "Dragonfly" is a compact, light and nimble aircraft, concieved as a scout and reconnaissance platform capable of engaging targets of opportunity. It can perform lightning-fast ground attacks or aerial combat while evading enemy fire, thanks to its small profile and high TWR.
In order to lighten the design and lower production costs, no heavy armor is used, which means it is unlikely to survive long, drawn-out engagements. However, it is very low cost, low maintenance and easy to print, all of which make the LAC-3 suitable for mass production, so replacement is not that big of a concern*.

@Stunna I guess everyone looks for similarities in their favorite games. But as it's pointed out below, it's kind of a loose take on the Type 4 Doragon from BF2142.

@TwinChops Tracked to source! That was indeed the original starting reference for this build.

@NotSoAwesomeO'Possum Quite close! But the design was inspired by the Battlefield 2142 gunships, specially the PAC version.

Reminds me of the Orca from C&C

@Marcusinfectus Actually, the inspiration, colors and all, came from somewhere more obscure, so much so I doubt anyone has found out yet (the hint is the landing skids and top engines). The name also derives from that source, somewhat. But I have to admit your build is very similar, also cool looking!

It's and older build I have been thinking of updating, and now, your build has me all excited 😆
