SCP-1162- V - A hole in the wall

Special conditions of detention: SCP-1162 is currently being held in a standard 5 x 5 x 5 m cell in Zone 31. SCP-1162 should be activated at least once a week to avoid violating the conditions of detention: if the object is not activated, it is moved to a randomly selected location, as described below.

Description: SCP-1162 is currently a hole in the cinder block wall of Holding Cell 4 in Area 31. Its diameter is approximately 14.5 cm, the depth is variable and varies depending on the current user. A part of the cinder block is visible in the hole, but no light source allows you to illuminate it more deeply, the hole always seems dark.

SCP-1162 is activated when a living creature penetrates the hole to the maximum depth that the length of the limb will allow, at which point its fingers touch a solid surface corresponding to the current location of SCP-1162 and detect an object small enough to fit into the hole. These items are usually identified as something that the user has lost or searched for at some point in their life. However, after removing the object, another object disappears, which the subject has with him. In addition, any object placed in SCP-1162 disappears as soon as it loses contact with a person.

If SCP-1162 is not activated at least once every 168 hours, it moves to a randomly selected wall or floor surface made of stone, concrete or brick within a radius of more than 2,000 kilometers. The previous hole is preserved, but no longer has abnormal properties. Attempts to destroy SCP-1162 or look at it from behind cause immediate displacement, regardless of the time that has elapsed since the last movement.

Appendix: SCP-1162 was discovered by Agent Parks of the Mobile task Force Zeta-9 ("Mole Rats") during a routine survey of the area affected by SCP-184. At that time, the object was a hole in the concrete floor in a service tunnel under █████████ in China. Agent Parks accidentally dropped a flashlight into the hole, and, putting his hand into the hole, took out a copy of the Super Mario Brothers 2 cartridge for the NES, on the back of which his name was written in felt-tip pen. Later, when checking the equipment, it was found that there was no standard soldering Agent Parks. SCP-1162 was experimented with on-site for three months before being left inactive for a week and moved to a wall in an abandoned office building in India. After its relocation was re-admitted, the object was not detected for a long time, although rumors of a "magic hole" came from the Netherlands, Venice, Egypt and Greenland. On April 16, 200█, the object appeared in its current location in Zone 31, where it is still being held.

Note: It was predictable.

Subject: D-4010
Note: During the experiment, the subject was completely undressed and did not have any belongings with him.
Received item: Driver's license D-4010, dated 1987.
Lost Item: After removing his hand from SCP-1162, the subject reported a sharp abdominal pain, and then collapsed. It was discovered that his left kidney had disappeared, and all the vessels connecting to it were neatly severed.
