Description
This is just a simple mod that adds another variant of cats to the game!
The idea came from a conversation in a Discord im in, lmao

Novacats are glowing cats that come in the same colours as snuggets. They are spawned with an invisible object (visible in wiring mode) purchasable at Terramart!

The item will spawn in 1 novacat in a random colour of 10 available. :3

Novacats also have fullbright enabled, so they will appear to "glow" in dark environments, but they are not light sources.

@Davoker: ah, yes, so purchasable pets edits the base game pet spawn lua file to disable ship pets from spawning. but this also renders pets from other mods unable to spawn, so to work around this, i gave my cats a "custom" spawn lua, which is just the original base game file but renamed so its "unique" and purchasable pets doesnt disable it :)

i originally did this for another pet mod i made so that my pets and purchasable pets would be more compatible with eachother, since another user was having trouble spawning my pet when purchasable was installed

dont worry btw i think your english is fine! i totally get what you mean now! i could take a look at the files in purchasable pets to see if i can make a proper patch to integrate novacats into it :3

That mod integrates with Purchasable Pets, Purchasable Pets is required for that reason, what I was looking for was a version just like it but of your cat.

I've tried to integrate it myself, but with the LUA file I'm a bit lost, it doesn't seem to work the same as the mod I've given you as an example (and other mods like that) and I'm not sure how to integrate it, for the moment at least.

I'm still getting to know how a lot of things work internally while doing some mods hehe

I meant a version compatible with purchasable pets, i.e. purchasable pets and this mod can be used together, no problem, I meant a version that is purchasable from purchasable pets.

With the functionality I meant to say that it would keep the brightness in the process, sorry, my English is not very good, I hope I explained myself well.

do the novacats not shine properly with purchasable pets installed? if so, i can look into working around it if needed! :)

Would a version for Purchasable Pets that maintains the same functionality be possible? i.e. the cat shines as intended.
