Report a translation problem
I liked the atmosphere and feel of the map, but everywhere was just too bloody large! I also didn't really understand why we had to do the exact same generator puzzle twice, it just felt like unnecessary padding. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this one and tried to go ambitious with the spaces, but it needed some meat on it to make it worthwhile.
For next time, I would try and think about making sure that there's enough substance to your spaces. The spaces were all huge and took a long time to navigate, but all I was ever really doing was going from one end to the other and pressing a button. It needs to be move involved than that to be fun! Try and think about keeping the player engaged, because your atmosphere and style were pretty good for this!
Also had to drop the map in the maps folder for the game to detect it.
JUDGE'S NOTES: Detritus was a strange map - never actually under threat, the continual ambience and darkness created a lonely atmosphere that I don't think was properly capitalized on. I spent most of the map running from button to button, pressing everything with a sprite on it without being fully involved with or informed about what effect this was having on my environment. In the end I found the way forwards and I do think the atmosphere is pretty solid here, but better telegraphing and more interestingly gameplay would have served this entry better.
