Brahma Military Ambulance

The Brahma (Battlefield Rescue And Hospital Medical Aid) is designed for quick evacuation of critically wounded soldiers when a helicopter is either not available or a helicopter extraction is too risky. The Brahma also works well as a land-based search and rescue vehicle.

Flat-6 Diesel engine with governor

Top Speed (with governor): 100 kph

Top Speed (governor off): ~140 kph

3 Speed Transmission (2 forward, 1 reverse gear). Transmission begins in a high torque, low acceleration gear and then auto-shifts to a high speed gear when the vehicle exceeds 50 kph.

2 fully-equipped hospital beds in the main cabin.

Equipment lockers on either side of the engine with emergency equipment.

Transponder locator.

Adjustable searchlight

Parking Brake (defaults to off, because I always forget to disengage it and stall the vehicle).

Gradual braking that disengages the clutch so you can come to a complete stop without stalling.

10 channel radio with push-to-talk headset for the driver.

Fractal desert camo that is still a work in progress.

2 rear-facing rumble seats behind the main cabin for additional passengers/casualties.
